James Guadagno is the founder and president of Homeless Veterans of Illinois NFP that was founded in 2022. James has never served in the military but has a long line of family members who have served in the military. James quotes "It is my duty to honor the brave veterans who have served honorably and are now homeless." Over 97% of all adults experiencing homelessness in the United States are Veterans of the U.S. Military. This means on any given day, an estimated 40,000 Veterans experience being homeless. This is why James has decided to help our fellow Veterans and spread the awareness in which many don't know about.
